A Brazilian group of musicians who love bossa nova and reggae, Amazonics identify as 100% Carioca, born and bred in Rio de Janeiro. They are known on the local music scene as the godfathers of electro-bossa, having began their careers at the same time as the mythical SUBA, the creator of this popular genre. It was their love of all things foreign, including pop music, that pushed them to take a chance by adding bossa beats to their favorite English-language tracks. Lifelong reggae fans, one of their favorite tracks is their version of Redemption Song, a Bob Marley classic. They also participated in the Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition) albums with hits like Let's Spend the Night Together. While they can still be found recording in studios in Los Angeles as well as in Rio, they also enjoying sharing their musical tastes with their fans online and manage their own Spotify presence by periodically sharing playlists such as Bossa N' Essentials.
