I'm a makeup artist and author of the makeup book - "The Makeup Chair Handbook"
This channel is called "The Makeup Chair" for a reason. See when I have people sitting in my makeup chair it's not just to get makeup applied. There's so much more to it than that! We talk about products we love, trends we love or hate, makeup hacks we've tried, we talk about life, work, heartbreak, love, our insecurities and basically every thing in-between.
So on the channel I cover everything from makeup lessons, tutorials, product reviews but also life, love and also shout out to my #spoonies because I have EDS and I sometimes share how that effects my life.

Hello friends I’m writing this because I might end up in hospital today. They wanted me to go in yesterday but I begged them to let me sleep one more night in my own bed.
This whole thing started with a separate issue that I needed to get checked out by a doctor, that thankfully ended up being fine, funnily enough that’s all I was worried about but, on my way to the doctors, the car in front of me - crashed. I stopped to help and nearly got hit by a car, thankfully everyone was fine.
On my way home from the doctors, a huge rock rolled off the back of a truck and smashed my windshield, my back seized up and my ear drum popped from the shock and sound, thankfully two very kind men helped me and I got home safe.
However a few days later, I got very sick, I thought it was stress, finally going to see a nurse and tests led to a doctor being called and the doctor wanted me to go straight to hospital because I have a really bad infection. It’s been so much at once and scary. And I was meant to go to a family wedding on Friday in the UK which I’m so sad to miss.
I’m not sure when I’ll be back. Just wanted to say be kind to yourself friend ❤️
Also, Thank you to the two kind people who donated to my channel last week, I usually use any donations to invest back into my channel but I hope it’s okay that I’ll be using it to get my car windshield replaced, I really need to get a dash-cam because the truck company should be paying, it’s not much but it’s still an extra expense I don’t need on top of my medical bills, though I have no idea when I’ll be well enough to drive again which I just realised. Oh well.

I'm sorry I thought I was being helpful by not pushing products but there is a difference between sharing the products I love and pushing products. I just want to find the balance.
