A wise woman once said, “ when you don’t know what to do, do nothing. “ that quote has been replaying in my head for the last 3 weeks. So, I sat and did nothing.
I’ve been really struggling with what to do with this Instagram page and over thinking the whole damn thing since the start. From the direction I want to take it, to the type of content I can easily commit to.. my mind continued to draw a blank.
My first thought was to immediately go on other travel creator pages whom content I resonate with and pull inspiration from. Go on Pinterest, download a bunch of pics and put together a fly ass mood board. Thank God that something in me kept preventing me from doing so.
I knew for a fact that I didn’t want my page to look like ANYONE else’s. I wanted it to be fresh, authentic to me and both valuable and relatable to those of you who follow it.
Well, it’s safe to say, after spending 4 hours on my flight from Tenerife to London I finally got the clarity I’ve been longing for these last few weeks.
Moral of the story is, sometimes it’s best to sit still and let the answer come to you in its own timing instead of rushing the process.
LONDON! 🇬🇧 this is NOT a drill. Your favorite American babe is back home this weekend and we are OUTSIDEEEE! I need all the tea on what’s popping the next few days! Day parties, night parties, events, best place for tea time, your fave underrated food spots. You name it!
I know Carnival is going to be a movie! I’m looking to crash someone’s group 🍾
