Hiya! I'm Kaylaa'! I'm a twenty-one-year-old college student who was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in May of 2020, my diagnosis was updated to Crohn's disease in December of 2023. I'm hoping that by sharing my experience and journey I can help others with my condition and hopefully add more voices for people of color in IBD conversations. If I'm not online I'm probably listening to music or reading.
Remember, even though you may feel alone in your struggles, there's always someone out there who relates to you, but you'll never be able to connect unless you speak out. Be kind to yourself and listen to your body! My DMs are always open!
