Hey yall! How you been??? I have been MIA... actually, I've been over on Tiktok and working gigs, but I've been trying to make a YT video for days but was having technical difficulties with my recording software! Hey yall!! Wish you all a Happy Holidays!! Would love to know what you are doing this season! As yall know, I moved to Florida so I am away from the majority of my family. I will be BBQing with my cousin and a neighbor, listen to music and having some drinks!! All day I’ve been cleaning, as usual Caribbean people need the house to be spotless before the new year!! Hey yall!! Long time. I am still editing my next video which I will just tell yall is a review of The Substance!! That was my last community post. Anyway, not sure about you guys but I have been utterly obsessed with this vigilante/The Adjuster/Healthcare CEO story the past week. I have been working so much though so I haven’t been able to follow as closely as I have wanted to. I cannot recommend my “magnum opus” video enough, where I talk about the country being in a crisis and specifically saying that “there is more to come” like this, in reference to the attempted as*******tion on the president. And here we are. I really truly appreciate and value my subscribers, so please watch this video to learn more about media literacy and how the films we watch reflect the times. I recently saw Gladiator II and there were so so so many motifs and allegory’s for what is currently happening in America/western society. Alright… I’m about to sacrifice myself for yall. Watching a Tyler Perry series is akin to enduring a medieval torture device! I decided I’m going to look at this series NOT with a critical eye and standard applied to other films (read: NORMAL FILMS). I will review this series in Tyler-Perry-Universe language.

Oh man! Can’t lie guys.. I called it! Netflix definitely PAID UP to bring the original writer and director back to Squid Game. I would love to know exact numbers but that might take some time. The he definitely did him dirty. Not only was he paid nothing on the backend, but when you make content for Netflix, they take over the rights. He says that he was compensated for both 1 and 2 so THATS AMAZING!! Check out my video below where I cover season 2 of Squid Game!

This video is my MAGNUM OPUS of my channel so far 😂😂 Guys, I can’t believe the election season is coming to a close in 3 DAYS!!! In this video, I talk about how Leave The World Behind and Civil War are a reflection of the times we are living in, and how we are in “the 4th turning.”

The 4th Turning is a concept from the book The Fourth Turning by William Strauss and Neil Howe. It describes a recurring generational cycle in history that unfolds in four stages, or “turnings,” each lasting about 20-25 years. The 4th Turning represents the crisis stage, marked by destruction of institutions, major societal upheaval and transformation. This phase sets the stage for a rebirth or renewal of society.
