Steven Parry was born in 1983 in Aarau, Switzerland. At the age of six he started to play the keyboard. When he was a teenager he began to write songs and recorded
them on an 8-track-tapemachine. He completed his arrangements with vocals, guitar, drums and bass. Today he is a self-employed musician, songwriter and producer. He plays in several bands, such as Sugar and the Josephines (jazz/chansons/soul), 3 FLATS (jazz/funk), Crown Affair (jazz/funk) and Ira May (soul). His solo projects include Steven Parry (synthwave), Horizon Diver (ambient), Tape Dispenser (vaporwave) and Keyscraper (electronica).
