An update on copyright issues: Square Enix just randomly issued a takedown notice for "Chrono Trigger - Depths of the Night (Extended)", a video that had been up for over 9 years. They didn't give me a chance to even remove the video first and simply issued a copyright strike. Thankfully, the others have expired at this point, so that's only one currently.

As I mentioned in the previous post, this is partly why I stopped uploading since I would rather not risk getting more strikes on new videos and then reaching three, causing the entire channel to get removed (and making every video unavailable).

Just a heads-up: I'll have to delete the Rome: Total War OST in the next couple of days. The composer himself, Jeff van Dyck, issued a copyright takedown notice, giving me 7 days to remove the video or a copyright strike will be issued.

And an update for the previous post: the two strikes are now gone, but Square Enix issued another one in February.

This uncertainty is one of the reasons for the lack of uploads, so I would think of the channel as more of an archive at this point.

It seems Square Enix is going scorched earth on this channel now too (even though I don’t monetize any of my videos). I’ve received two copyright strikes in the past 24 hours, so if you see the channel and all the videos disappear suddenly, that’s what happened if they bring a third strike. I will try to delete any other Enix videos to save the channel in the meantime.

Feel free to use a YouTube to mp3 website to save any OSTs you’re interested in. Thanks to all those who have listened over the past 8 years, and I hope it’s made your days even just a little better.

Nintendo has begun blocking some videos in all countries (they just blocked 3D World and Mario Kart Wii, uploaded 5 and 7 years ago, respectively).


So if some videos seemingly start disappearing, you now know why, unfortunately. :/


I don't monetize any of these OST videos, but I guess Nintendo just wants them gone.

I'm not sure how many of you guys see these, but:

Most of the 3D Mario music is set. However, I've yet to play Odyssey so throw out any song suggestions. Right now I have:

- Fossil Falls
- Steam Gardens
- Bubblaine
- Underground Moon Caverns (i.e., Honeylune Ridge Caves); I've heard the Escape theme there is well-liked, too.

Sorry about the lack of videos. It's due to a lack of both time and motivation. Though I've been considering some sort of 3D Mario music compilation.

And a quick heads-up: I'm having to private some videos because scammers are trying to file false copyright claims in order make ad revenue off them. If the claims aren't removed by these people, I'll be keeping them private to keep them from earning any ad revenue off content that isn't theirs.
