Hey Girl Scouts!! What’s shakin? How have you been? Just wanted to check in with ya and give a little update on where I’ve been/what I’m planning for the channel :)

I took a step back from making videos so I could properly focus on my health, and it’s been really great! Rest assured, I WILL be posting again soon, and going forward I’m aiming for 2-3 videos a month…I actually have a part 2 to a popular video in the works right now, so I’m hoping the first one back is worth the wait 😁

In other news, ‪@Ablazee‬ and I got a second bengal kitten named Freya, and she’s pretty rad (Ridley doesn’t think so though) Hope you’ve all been doing well, and I can’t wait to see you all in the next video!! Peace out, Girl Scouts xoxoxo 🫶💕

Hey Girl Scouts! Just wanted to give you a little update; my last video received a copyright strike because ~someone~ didn’t like being put on blast (unlike their obnoxious dubstep music, am I RIGHT?? 🤠🤠) I’m waiting for that to be resolved, and in the meantime I’ve been working on my next video that will be up tomorrow at 5pm EST!

Hey Girl Scouts!! Hope you had a great holiday season and that your 2023 has been off to a good start :) My last few weeks have been me alternating between getting out with ‪@Ablazee‬ while he experiences his first ever Canadian winter, and cozying up on the couch with Ridley to watch the snow from the safety of indoors 🥰🥰

I’ll be beginning to upload again in the next few days, so be on the lookout for a new video soon!! In the meantime, let me know if you’ve made any goals/resolutions for this year that you’d like to achieve; I personally want to focus on learning how to relax without guilt so I stop needlessly burning out (aka be able to make more content for you guys!!) Hey Girl Scouts! I wanted to make a post to speak about my previous video, where I accidentally included misinformation about a girl named Tara Rule. I was sent a doctored clip and a false narrative about her, and I used it in my video without knowing the real story. I pinned a comment regarding it on the video (which will remain unlisted until her part is removed), but for those who watched my video already and wouldn’t see the comment, I wanted to make a post to tell you all her true story.

Tara was denied medication for her chronic illness because of it having a potential to cause birth defects, even though she is not planning on having children. She was denied an opportunity for relief because of a doctor thinking they had a say in her personal choice and that they knew better than her on this choice. When she spoke up against this on tiktok, the hospital began harassing her and her loved ones, to the point where she is now in a lawsuit with them.

I know first hand what it's like to fight for help when you’re sick and want relief from being in pain everyday. I know how much you have to suppress your pain and adapt, living in a dissociated and grey reality. I know the devastation of having potential relief and being told no. And I know the frustration of trying to make your own choices and having others think they have any say in it. I'm sorry to Tara for causing her harm and for her to have to waste the energy she doesn't have on this. Please, go and show her support and love on her Tiktok @pogsyy, because she is the kind of person this series was supposed to help.

There was a lot of miscommunication on both ends, but Tara and I have finally been able to privately speak to clear things up, and we are on good terms! While I can’t erase my mistake, we were able to take this and find some good in it all - we might have a lead towards some more evidence for her lawsuit! Like she said on her tiktok, the person who doctored her news story and made up a false narrative never predicted that two adults with differences would ACTUALLY be able to talk things out and find commonality 😉

We still have different opinions/approaches to mental health spaces online, and that’s okay. Whether people believe it or not, we have the same goals of raising awareness of the realities of living with a disorder; I include education alongside my parody bits because this is my goal. As I emphasize constantly, people can make mistakes, recognize them, and change, but demonizing them will only make them reluctant to do this. I believe most people have good intentions, and regardless of if we have different perspectives, this is the thing that I care about above all. Any time someone messages me about how they are scared to admit they’ve faked or have spread misinformation, I make it clear that I absolutely stand by them, because they are trying their best to be the person they want to be.

I also want to make it clear that I do stand by Tara’s content as well. I’m happy she’s able to use social media as a healthy coping tool where she can speak up for those suffering and clear up the massive stigmatization that we face. I don’t think there is enough education and regulation for it to be a viable tool for everyone, but like anything, it can be used healthily. She even taught me about how those with chronic pain adapt to live with that level of constant pain, so even if we have the physical markers for a 10, we won’t act the same as someone with acute pain. I was never told that there was a way to actually see the true amount of pain your body was experiencing, so this is something I can use to advocate for myself in the future when I’m told I ‘just have a higher pain tolerance’.

I hope to one day feel that social media has more of a positive effect on mental health, and it’s people like Tara that do give me hope. She’s a fierce gal for being able to advocate while dealing with what she does, all while being a compassionate and empathetic person (as is her partner, might I add!) I’m grateful to her for taking my apology at face value, for clearing up miscommunications between us instead of using it as an opportunity for drama, and for working together with me to achieve our individual goals.

I wanted to end this with an apology to my Girl Scouts. I’m sorry for presenting you a video with misinformation included directly due to my negligence. I genuinely did believe what I was presented with was the truth, but that does not excuse me from not doing my own research. I will only go off of my own research in future, and I will always hold myself accountable if I make a mistake. I’m not perfect, but I can promise that much to you. Peace out, Girl Scouts xoxoxo

Hey Girl Scouts! Sorry for the gap in between uploads; I had a sponsored video in the works, but it has come to my attention that this brand engages in some unethical practices and is not one that I feel comfortable promoting to you. I thought I’d done adequate research, but failed to notice their direct connection to other brands I’ve previously declined working with due to deceitful marketing tactics :( As corny as it sounds, integrity is priceless, so I aim to never willingly give mine up for a quick buck. I’ve scrapped that video and am working as quickly as I can to get something up for you, so be on the lookout early next week for some quality cringe!!
