Welcome! Several years ago my family and I moved back to a small homestead that's been in my family for many years. Our goal is to become as self sufficient as possible and get back to a simpler lifestyle. We hope you'll enjoy following our journey as we work towards building our little homestead. I’m so excited… I got a portion of a wall coved with pallet wood and I love the look!! I plan on white washing it when I’m done. I have a couple tools I’ve been using that makes ripping the pallets apart easy, which I will show in a video soon. Other than being time consuming, it really hasn’t been that bad to do. What do you think?

Because we working on our tiny houses, we originally planned on not doing a garden this year. It all changed when Brooke's tiny house was moved to it's place and there was a patch of bare dirt left where it once sat. That little spot kept calling out, "Plant me into a garden!" and well... we did just that! Now my heart is happy!

I’m a little behind on filming and editing right now, but I just HAVE to share some exciting news!! I have electricity to my little house and some temporary lights up. Seeing the glow from the windows warms my heart knowing it’s one small step closer to becoming my home. ❤️ We have a video coming out really soon on a new and improved pig pen we built, then after that will be another shed update. So many new things happening... can’t wait to share.

Check out our latest video update..... We wanted to give you an update on what's been happening on the homestead as we did chores, but it's cold out, so it turned out to be a sit in the car and chat kinda update. Plans for our sheds to houses are slowly starting to come together and we are so excited!! Then on top of that, Brooke and I each found great deals on a couple of claw foot bathtubs and Dylan found a urinal at a great price. It's almost like we're more excited about those things than we are about getting our sheds. 😂🤣
