Hi Guitar Gods! I've recently started the Legato Speed Trainer Series on my channel with accompanying backing tracks at increasing BPM. I just wondered how your'e doing with these? Let me know in the comments. Even the Legato Primer can be difficult but a great work out for your fingers while focusing on accuracy, timing and correct muting technique.

After my recent poll it's clear that lots of my subscribers want to brush up on their Legato skills.
So here is the first written example - Legato Primer.
These 10 exercises and licks are played at 80 BPM first using triplets and then to sextuplets.
And now to start filming these, the video should be out later this week and it'll be a long one as I'm going to play through all of the exercises for 3 minutes each.
The idea is that you play through them with me.
This will test your focus, stretch and stamina!

What's your favourite guitar to play? Super Strat, Tele, Les Paul, Strat or other?

I find myself using Ibanez Jems more and more these days, I love the tremolo system and the super thin necks.
But can you beat a good old Les Paul Standard for all out rock?
