DJ Spen presents Quantize Recordings, founded in 2012 with co-founder Thommy Davis.
Quantize delivers an array of exciting soulful dance music to the world. Its sub-label, Unquantize, features underground sounds with deep, alternative, and Afro vibes.
Some of dance music’s most respected producers, remixers, musicians and vocalists are label regulars including Gary Hudgins whose keyboards and production shines on many of the label‘s releases.
Vocalists include gospel singer Ann Nesby (Sounds of Blackness), Grammy award winning Crystal Waters, house music legend Barbara Tucker, world renowned Tracy Hamlin, powerhouse jazz vocalist Sheila Ford, Tasha LaRae (Arrested Development), and Randy Roberts and Vonita White of Jasper Street Co.
Regular producers include John Morales, John Kahn, Timmy Regisford, Reelsoul, Michele Chiavarini, Neal Conway and Micfreak.
Notable remixers include David Morales, the late Frankie Knuckles, Terry Hunter, Oppoloppo, and Neil Pierce to name a few.
