Animals used for meat often have very miserable and unhealthy lives. They are often beaten and tormented for no reason.
Animals are sentient beings who experience mental and physical suffering, just as humans do, but now, they are treated as comodities and as a product for food,fashion,healthcare and entertainment rather than a living being.
