Over a year of my life working on this and I have finally finished it. It's not perfect, far from it, there are many issues, many things I'm not satisfied with, things I look back at and see the problems I didn't see back then, things that I could have put a bit more effort in, or even gotten some help from other people instead of trying to do everything myself. But in the end, I finished it, and I'm proud of myself for actually sticking with this project for so long.
Less than a month remains until Madness Day, and my progress so far: it's all done, except for the audio, which I'm doing a final pass on to make it more consistent and as least terrible as I can make it. I'm no audio engineer, and that is definitely going to be a weak point of the movie, but oh well.
Still cooking by the way, progress is being a little slow since I'm not forcing myself to work on it if I don't want to. 11 scenes are done already, with 4 remaining (one being very big). Also look at this DMC 3 Dante sprite.
45 seconds into this scene and I still have a lot to go before I get to the next (and final) action scene, this'll definitely be the longest in the animation, but it's also being one of my favorites so far.
Doesn't mean I'm close to the end of his project though. The hands, feet, weapons falling, shells (oh god shells), effects, gore, backgrounds, fixing mistakes, smoothing a few parts out and other things I don't remember are all going to take just as, if not, longer than making the scenes.
I'd post a GIF, but every time I tried to make one the quality got destroyed or the framerate got screwed.
The second image is an almost finished background (that barrel and box are by ShootDaCheese, I'll be using a lot of his stuff).
Finally reached 8 minutes, but I still have quite a bit to go, so this might end up being 9-10 minutes. Oh and I figured out you can post GIFs here, dunno what to do about the quality though, I hate GIFs.

Anyway, see you all on Madness Day.

(Also I got deja vu when writing this)
