Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts

The Academy of European Medieval Martial Arts or AEMMA is a non-profit school founded in Toronto, Canada. Apart from its founding Toronto chapter, AEMMA also has 4 vibrant chapters in Guelph, Stratford, and Ottawa Ontario, and Digby Nova Scotia. AEMMA focuses on the research, practice and training of a fighting art called "l´arte dell´armizare" as described by a Friulian swordsmaster by the name of Fiore dei Liberi, who in 1409-1410 documented this art in a comprehensive treatise entitled "Fior di Battaglia" or "Flos Duellatorum".
