Getting rid of the perfectionist mindset
I’ve been struggling to be as consistent as I would like to be mostly because I keep overthinking what I should post and feel like I should only share very high quality content, this instead causes me to not post at all so I’ve decided to just let go of everything.
This year I won’t be sharing overly curated content, I’m focusing on creating content that I feel like sharing whether it perform well or not.
I think simplifying the process will stop me from self sabotaging and burning myself out so here’s to more content that feels good and that I myself enjoy sharing.

Confidence is the reason I picked up my camera for the first time and recorded a YouTube video, edited it and posted it, knowing very well the video was not the best quality (my first video looks terrible tbh😅)
Confidence in myself is the reason I was willing to put myself out there to start my career in marketing even without much to go by (no qualification or experience in the field) and actually managed to get my first job.
As you can see, confidence is very important and I have built my confidence over the years to get to the level that I am right now and I share how you can do so as well in the video below

I recently (like 4 weeks ago) started working as a marketer and if you’ve watched the “how I got landed a marketing job with no qualifications or experience” video you would know that this was an answered prayer.
Now that I’ve managed to accomplish this, I understand that there are people like me who wanted to get into marketing as a career but had no idea how to do so especially because they did not study to get into this field (I studied Engineering in College). As a *late bloomer* myself I was very overwhelmed by the idea of starting my “Glow Up” journey because I had so many things I wanted to fix up in terms of my appearance.
I decided to start with building a skincare routine, which then turned into learning how to do my makeup then working on finding my personal style.
Now this wasn’t a straight forward thing where you go from one step to the next and suddenly you’ve glowed up and look the best you’ve ever looked (I wish it was that simple) but I’ve learnt a couple of things which I want to share with you hence I created this video

One thing I struggled with was accepting how much weight I had gained, so I did everything under the sun to try to lose weight but I forgot that at some point I was skinny and even then I still didn’t like my body and tried to be even skinnier.
Now I’m not saying don’t lose the weight (health is important after all), I’m just saying that maybe your size was never the problem instead it’s the fact that you don’t like yourself at all.
