Some general fitness advice from somebody who once sat through a 6 week PT course:

1. Nothing actually "kills gains" (apart from heroin and ultramarathons).
2. Fat doesn't have the ability to exhibit personality traits such as stubbornness.
3. You're probably not "doing it wrong" - you're probably doing it fine.
4. A chest has to come before an upper chest.
5. Running is boring. If you want to do it, do it after a ball... on a pitch, with friends.
6. Just kidding, run if you want.
7. Stretching probably won't fix it (whatever "it" is).
8. You don't need to know much to get in great shape. You just do basic shit on repeat.
9. Once you hit 27 you have to start calling it a "gaining phase" because it sounds more mature than "bulking".
