Perro is a Mexican American writer, music producer and Dj born in Harbor City, CA. He was Raised in the Projects of San Pedro CA. His parents were born & raised in Zamora, Michoacán Mexico. Perro’s first language is Spanish because growing up, he only spoke spanish in his household.

At the age of 15 he bought his first set of turntables, mixer & records. The first record he ever purchased was a classic, it was titled, Planet Rock. Perro was heavily influenced by music growing up, he listened to 1580 K-DAY, a radio station in Los Angeles. He started out by making mixed tapes & selling them for $10.00 a pop. Perro & a couple of friends from the neighborhood (Big & D) gathered up whatever money they could and purchased the SP 1200, Roland XP80 keyboard & a Fostex recorder to produce & record music. The group began recording music and formed a group by the name of the, "Mexican Hit Squad".
