This page is to share small improvements/kaizen to make a difference. Especially, the page focuses on upazila level officers' efforts to improve public services in Bangladesh.

The small improvements initiative has started to establish a framework under which at least one small improvement will be achieved every year in about 12,000 offices of more than 20 Nation Building Departments (NBDs) in all the upazilas nation-wide.

Key additional values are (1) utilization of initiatives of upazila level officers of NBDs, (2) utilization of inventive ideas of small improvements at upazila level, and (3) enhanced departmental efforts of incremental improvements in quality of public services.

Key approach is motivation and communication among public service providers, citizens, and stakeholders to share the value of small improvements for better nation building.
