Jazz Lag
The Jazz Lag is a swing band performing in northern Italy since 2004. As an open and on-going project it keeps involving musicians and artists into its musical journey and experimentation. Every show is an experience on its own and it’s designed to fit the context: from huge concert halls and festivals where the powerful beat of the orchestra keeps dancers moving, to the intimate atmosphere of pubs and small restaurants with the soft notes of a jazz ensemble. The Jazz Lag has the right sound to suit everybody's fancy!
The Jazz Lag’s repertoire mainly focuses on the Italian swing era which flourished during the ’30-’50, but also covers the best known American swing and jazz standards with a touch of gipsy and some dancing digressions into the Italian classics of the ’60. It performs with various line-ups, from duo to orchestra with horns and choir.
