Founded in 1961 as the Laguna Beach School of Art, LCAD has grown to include 11 undergraduate majors and 3 graduate majors. We offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Animation, Drawing and Painting (w/Illustration or Sculpture emphasis), Entertainment Design, Experimental Animation, Game Art, Graphic Design + Digital Media (w/Action Sports or Illustration emphasis), and Illustration. The graduate programs award a Master of Fine Arts in Drawing, Painting, and Game Design.
