Disfiguring The Goddess (DTG) was founded in 2006 in Minden, Nevada, by four teenagers. Within a few years, Cameron "Big Chocolate" Argon became the sole member, driving the project forward. Combining elements of death metal, deathcore, and heavy electronic atmospheres, DTG has carved a unique and innovative path in the deathcore scene.

Cameron Argon has been a significant influence in both the brutal death metal and deathcore communities. He was also an early pioneer in blending metal with dubstep, notably collaborating with the late Mitch Lucker on their project, Commissioner. Beyond metal, Big Chocolate played a key role in shaping the early EDM trap sound, further showcasing his versatility and creativity.
