I was away for about 7 months (a lifetime in the context of social media), creating something awesome that needed to come through me. And now it’s weird to come back. What should I post? I’ve changed.
My aim was to help others make lifestyle changes but in the process I experienced so much growth and expansion within me. And it’s been a thrilling as well as challenging 7 months!
Just food content doesn’t excite me anymore. I’ve become as holistic as I’ve ever been (of course there’s room for growth, it never ends). Will people be interested about other aspects of holistic health — mindfulness, meditation, movement, forgiveness, breath, awareness, self-love, self-growth, being able to be an observer… the list goes on? Is it even important if I aim to follow my excitement?
I guess I’ll post what authentically wants to come through and the people who need it, will stick around or find it.
So, from now on, besides the content around wholesome and simple food, expect to hear about the topics I listed above, and whatever else excites me.
The thing that excites me very much at the moment is building community. I truly want to know the people who follow me here or anywhere else, to connect with them and be more than just an anonymous like or a view. When you follow me, expect a message from me because I want to connect and hear why you decided to join this community.
To be honest, I was hiding in my hermit’s cave for 10 years. Yes, I was creating content and resources for people but I was actually doing everything I could to avoid communicatIon. I’m finally admitting it. It was mostly an energetic thing. I realise now how I could have reached a lot more people much sooner had I been open energetically and looking for real connections.
I’m here now and it’s a huge step forward for me. I’m here greatly thanks to the amazing group of women with whom I created my first video course — actually connecting with real people while creating content makes a huge difference. I’m so grateful for them all and all the future connections I’ll have.
So, let’s connect! Let’s be more than numbers in social media algorithm.
