Travelin' Band: Creedence Clearwater Revival at the Royal Albert Hall, coming soon! 🎥

50+ years in the making, production is underway on a Creedence feature documentary, built around recently-unearthed performance footage. The film—narrated by Academy Award-winning actor and CCR-fan Jeff Bridges—follows the band from their formative years in El Cerrito, CA, to their meteoric rise in 1969, including their headlining slot at Woodstock, sold-out stop at the Oakland Coliseum, and iconic performance at the U.K.’s most prestigious music venue.

For years, rumors have circulated about a long-lost CCR recording, captured in 1970 during the band’s appearance at London, UK’s Royal Albert Hall. Now, more than 50 years later, fans can now own a piece of rock ’n’ roll lore with this collectible 7-inch disc! A limited edition pressing will be available exclusively for Record Store Day’s second drop date on June 18th.

Mirroring the original double-sided “Travelin’ Band”/“Who’ll Stop the Rain” 45 single, which was issued in January 1970, this release showcases what were the band’s newest songs in a live setting (originally dropping just ahead of their release of Cosmo’s Factory).

For this new edition, Side A features the Royal Albert Hall performance of the song from April 14, 1970 (celebrating its anniversary this week!), and marks the very first release of this rare recording. Side B, meanwhile, offers a live version of “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” recorded at the Oakland Coliseum, and previously released on the platinum-selling live album, The Concert.

Stay tuned for more special announcements coming soon.
