Rocky Kanaka Sitting with Dogs highlights some of the best shelter dogs in the world that just need their story told. It doesn't matter if it's a shut down dog, dog that needs to be told they are a good girl or a dog that is growling at Rocky Kanaka he wants to spend time with them to see if he can show them comfort and assure them the situation they are in isn't their fault.
Rocky Kanaka believes Life's Better with Dogs and has recently started sharing Flip's Farm. The Farm is named after his soul dog Flip Kanaka that helped Rocky foster and rehabilitate rescue dogs in need for over a decade. Flip's Farm is a coffee farm and dog rehabilitation farm that sells Flip Coffee to support the efforts of Rocky's goal of giving dogs a safe space to heal until he finds them their forever home.

From a shy and itchy little pip-squeak to the queen of Flip’s Farm, Pippa’s transformation has been nothing short of amazing! 👑🐶
When she first arrived, she was battling severe skin issues, itching, and infections—but look at her now! Her skin is glowing, her energy is unstoppable, and she’s stealing hearts (and beds) left and right. 😅 Whether she’s sunbathing on her “royal throne,” bossing around her siblings, or snuggling with her sister Polly, Pippa is living her best life.
She’s still sassy, still spunky, and definitely still a diva—but now she’s healthier, happier, and on her way to finding her perfect forever home. ❤️ We still haven't been able to ease her allergies 100% and have an appointment scheduled with a dermatologist soon. Once we get that under control it will be time for her and her sister to be adopted together!
Make sure you have it the follow button so you don't miss the live DNA test result to see if her and Polly are related. Swipe to see her journey from day one to her glow-up today! ✨

When Polly first arrived at Flip’s Farm, she was a fearful, matted little pup who didn’t know how to trust. Fast forward to today, and she’s blossomed into a confident cuddle queen who loves belly rubs, shadowing her humans, and pestering Pumpkin to play! 🐾💛
This sweet girl has overcome so much—from navigating her health challenges to learning that love doesn’t have to be scary. She’s even the farm’s unofficial guard dog, bravely protecting everyone from the evil Amazon delivery guy 😂📦
Every day, Polly shows us her playful, affectionate side and reminds us that patience and care can work wonders. Swipe to see her incredible journey from scared to snuggly and make sure you're following along because Kelly and I will be going live soon with her DNA test results. Do you think her and Pippa are related?! 🐶💫

I need to update you on Cinder, the Terrier shelter dog that came in emaciated and likely used for breeding. So many of you have been in full support of her journey, and like me saw how special she was immediately.
I often get the question in interviews of how many dogs I’ve saved. Immediately I work to shift the conversation to the dog we're all helping at that time because what matters most is the dog we’re showing love to at that moment. And in my experience it’s rare that one person saves a dog. Typically it’s a team effort of rescuers, good samaritans, settler staff, volunteers and so on. When I sit with a dog I have no goals because sometimes I lose them. Instead I focus on the love and compassion I can give the dog in that moment. I hope that if I can give them comfort in their lowest moment they will at least know true love.
Cinder’s white and red blood cell count, along with her weight, was rapidly declining despite everything they tried. She was spoiled with rotisserie chicken whenever she wanted it, and had her receiving all necessary medical care, but her condition was too far gone, and she had stopped eating entirely. Surrounded by her foster family and fellow dog friends, she passed away peacefully.
I want to say the team over at I.C.A.R.E Dog Rescue did an incredible job caring for her. If you caught my most recent Pupdates video, you’ll even see her first tail wag. They really made her feel loved - something she was deprived of for who knows how long wherever she came from, and I truly believe they accomplished their goal of restoring her faith in humans in the short time she was with them.
Although she has passed, we will not stop fighting to get to the bottom of Cinder’s case, along with all the other Terrier’s cases and find out where they all came from. We’ve got a plan behind the scenes that we won’t share just in case the responsible party is out there watching/reading. #JusticeForCinder

Oh wow, Pippa and Polly—what a dynamic duo these two are! ❤️ When they first arrived, it was clear they’d both been through so much. Pippa was dealing with severe alopecia, red, irritated skin, and even some blisters from all the scratching. Polly, on the other hand, needed surgery to treat her hydrometra, and Pippa had surgery to remove some masses and address other health concerns. These girls are absolute warriors! 💪
Part of their recovery has been making sure their bodies have everything they need to heal properly—and let me tell you, seeing Pippa’s hair starting to grow back is such a beautiful sign of progress. 🐾 Her skin is calming down, and she’s finally starting to look and feel like the healthy, happy dog she’s meant to be.
That’s where Sundays for Dogs has been an absolute lifesaver. I can’t rave enough about how much of a blessing this is: www.rockykanaka.com/sundays — and right now, it’s 50% OFF! Nutrition plays such a critical role in recovery, and with less stress, proper care, and a balanced diet, both Pippa and Polly are bouncing back stronger than ever.
Rehabilitating dogs takes time, patience, and love, but so much of it starts with the right nutrition. Healthy food helps heal their bodies and minds, and Sundays has been with us every step of the way.
Thank you, Sundays for Dogs, for caring about these little ones as much as we do. And thank you, Pippa and Polly, for trusting us and being such brave, loving sisters on this journey to health and happiness. ❤️🐾
