Prompts: When and where were you born? What is your name? How did you get your name? What does it mean?
Gather supplies you’d like to use, your journal or notebook, any photos you want to include, glue, and a pen. If you are using photos, I recommend using copies (save the originals), and include a baby and/or childhood photo and a current photo of yourself. Note: all you really need is paper and a pen because it’s the story that matters! The extras you include are a personal preference and a bonus.
Break in your journal! Last week I challenged you to create an introduction page. On this page write what you will be using your journal for and why you want to do it. Feeling too scared to begin? Write that too and then give yourself permission for it to be out of chronological order and imperfect! It doesn’t matter if it’s in order or perfect; what matters is that you begin!
