Synopsis: The story of KnightStones is a saga of opposing ideologies and uncomfortable truths across time.
The runaway heiress Robin and rogue scholar Fisher discover truths long hidden as they uncover the history of the fight to free the people of Valos from tyranny and oppression; while in ages past, Gust, Rose, Naomi, Ramon & Isaac—the Gem Knights—fight against the Valos Elite and those who enforce their will.
I think it's a bit obvious to anyone who's been paying attention that this was a really weird year for me and this channel. Between extended breaks, massive projects, burnout, and now massive projects again, I have somewhat neglected TSD Talks. And that's because I think I'm still trying to figure out what it means to me going forward. Not just into 2025, but in general.
I'm in a very different place than I was this time last year, when I announced my first break. Back then I thought I would come back and then go right back into the swing of things like nothing happened. But because of various life events, it didn't end up playing out that way. And I'm now at the point where I'm wondering if I'll ever be at that place again.
I don't want you to think I'm being all doom and gloom though. When I say "I'll never be the same", it's not with the voice of some war veteran permanently changed by The Horrors, it's just commenting on the fact that I'm literally not the same person I was over 4 years ago when I first started uploading regularly. And I think that who that person is might be finishing that era.
I'm not gonna just disappear though. I might do more video essays in the future, but for now, I really want to explore other focuses. For example, @KingscreekPodcast, the horror fiction podcast I announced last week has been my main project for the last few months, and I'm incredibly excited to share it with you all next year. I want to keep working with other creators, like @PillarofGarbage and our PoGcast (lotta podcasts it seems), and hopefully, someday I can even make something like The Auteur again. I think the future is bright.
I understand if this post makes you leave. A flighty "I might come back next year I might not" post doesn't inspire the greatest of confidence, but you've all stuck with me through some tumultuous times, and I want to be honest with you about how I'm feeling.
However, I hope with all my heart that you *do* stick around, because I need someone to shove my project ideas at.
I love all of you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope you have the best 2025 you possibly can.

So, we've made it to the end of 2024.
I think it's a bit obvious to anyone who's been paying attention that this was a really weird year for me and this channel.
