Another strike has hit the channel, but only one this time. Videos are scheduled until the 25th of this month, then we'll be taking a short break before continuing the schedule. Keep rocking on.
The strikes against the channel have been erased, which means that the music will continue. Metal will never die, but it may possible take another break for a few months at a time if that happens again. Schedule will be a new song every six hours.
So as some of you may have seen in the previous post; the goal by the end of the year is to reach the 5,000 public videos mark, which is a long way to go.
We're currently sitting at just over a thousand, which means that it's impossible to reach 4,000 on a two a day schedule. Well deduced, Watson.
The schedule is going to be changing between now and the end of the year, several times, with the rest of this month and August still being two uploads, but then things will begin to change up a bit.
September will have three daily uploads, October will have four, November will have five, and December will have more than that, leading all the way up to Christmas week where I have something special planned for you all.
Currently we're already on top of the schedule, and uploads have been complete all the way to Christmas day, which is roughly another thousand or so videos scheduled to go live at set times.
There's a lot more on the way and I'm potentially going to be fielding a Q&A through a video if people are interested in something like that.
I'll have more information going up on the Buy Me A Coffee page, which you can view without having to be a supporter or donator.
Happy belated 4th of July for my friends overseas, keep on rocking!
As many of you know and understand, due to the nature of the channel I cannot and will not ever monetise the videos, the reasons being that obviously, I did not create the music and that it would introduce ads to everyone. (If you see ads it's because some videos become content flagged and YouTube automatically monetizes them in favour of the artists of the songs, which I'm all for as it supports those bands that you love).
However, the running costs of a channel like this that is begging to grow larger and larger, in turn, become more costly. To adhere to the schedules that I've got in place there are between 20-70 videos being uploaded every day, that's a lot of data.
A friend of mine suggested starting a BuyMeACoffee page, where people can feel unobligated to pay anything, or in turn can choose to donate a small amount that would go towards the running costs of the channel.
If anyone would like to donate it would be a huge help and will keep the progress of the channel going strong and toward our goal of having around 5,000 uploads by the end of 2023.
