A few people commented under this video that they didn't know Mike and I had a channel together 🤭 which is my fault. I haven't promoted it too much because school was kicking my butt and I had minimal time to film/edit/upload anything on Youtube but moving forward about 99% of the videos I film with Mike will be on this channel. It is a lot easier to focus on our life (and Mike's transition to the USA) on this channel! I hope you guys check us out and I promise to have more videos up in the near future!! ❤️❤️
and also.... for the people that have been around since the beginning (and even the people that have just shown up)... thank you for always supporting me and begleiting me on my crazy adventures!!
January 1st 2024 ☀️ see you in 2025 (probably at the beach). I hope this year has been semi-good to you and if it hasn't I hope 2025 brings so many beautiful moments your way 💕
I wanted to take some time to send out some much-needed prayers.
I posted about Mike and I finding an alligator in the middle of the road on our way home from Disney. We called the cops hoping to prevent a huge accident (the alligator was 4 meters long if I remember correctly). So many officers showed up and were so kind but one officer in particular left such a lasting impression on Mike and myself that we frequently bring him up when telling the story. That officer was shot and killed while on duty. He was trying to help the person not get their car towed and reinstate their insurance. The deputy spent an hour with this person going above and beyond to help, for that person to murder him in broad daylight.
Stories like this make me sad because this was a perfect representation of law enforcement and a decent human being. This man was a flicker of a moment in Mike and I's story but left such a lasting impression. I hope his family is able to smile after all is said and done and realize their father, husband, grandpa, friend, etc. touched the lives of so many people in a positive way, if only for a moment.
The next batch of prayers are going to Magdeburg. I don't know how someone can be so selfish and take away the beautiful moments made in Christmas Markets. To tarnish a tradition that means so much to so many people. To turn one of the most beautiful times of the year into the saddest for what will be hundreds, if not thousands of victims is pure evil. Attacks like these happen all over the world and every time they do I shake my head in disbelief, shock, and disappointment. I know Germans are resilient and I know the country does a good job of coming together during moments like this but please take this time to not be fearful and not be consumed by hate. My hope is that the people that were victims of this horrendous act were living life to the fullest, and surrounded by love, companionship, freundlichkeit, and joy leading up to that moment. If you do decide to go to a Christmas Market in the future please know it is a gift and a lot more special than you think, do not let this attack steal your peace! The best thing you can do is live for the ones that can't ❤️
How I sleep at night knowing that people are in my comment section pointing out that I said something wrong and using that as a means to call me an idiot 🤭😴😆
A lot has been happening behind the scenes and I just want to say that I might not be able to upload some videos for the next couple of days. I thought I would be able to this weekend but I am exhausted. Sometimes your body and the universe tells you to slow down!!
As always... Please be kind to others because you never know what they are dealing with in their personal life ❤️
It is round 2 for us and we decided to evacuate the state. As much as I would love to stay and film the craziness I just don’t think it’s the smartest thing to do this time 🌀
We are still on the road but out of Florida. We are very lucky because they are saying the average time to get out of South Florida now is 41 hours. There is no gas and no hotel availability in the state of Florida.
We are predicted to not have power when we return so you guys might not hear from me for a few days but we are fine!
I am praying for everyone that is staying and weathering the storm ❤️ stay dry and stay safe!! Also…. If you are American, more specifically Floridian, PLEASE VOTE for CHANGE!
Hey everyone ❤️ Happy German Unity Day and I hope you are enjoying your German holiday 🇩🇪
I just wanted to thank everyone who liked/commented on my video about Hurricane Helene. I am going to let the video run for about 5-7 days (that is usually when revenue starts to fall off), take a final tally, and donate it hopefully by the end of next week!! I hope to have a few hundred bucks racked up by then!!
I also wanted to give a big thank you to the people who sent donations via YouTube and PayPal! I did not expect that at all, but I am so very thankful for the people who wanted to give a little more. 😊❤️
I will always repeat: BE KIND because you never know what others are going through, and you might be the house with the yellow car in the driveway, but someone else might be the pink house with all of their stuff thrown on the street 🥺
After today, I will no longer post about Helene because, in my heart, I find it difficult to share other people's worst moments, but I just wanted to say thank you *AGAIN* to everyone who has helped my community ❤️
