Hyderabad Archdiocese Social Service Society (HASSS) began its journey in the year 1973, to establish a just society, wherein all men, women and children experience a life of fullness and they are empowered to discover their potentialities, and enable to live with dignity. HASSS has been instrumental in making some significant and positive changes in the lives of the poor and marginalized, in social, economical, educational & health sectors. The name “Social Service Society” emphasizes its character of service to the disadvantaged irrespective of caste, creed, culture and gender. HASSS has progressed in empowering people through Self Help Groups' saving and credit system as well as Income Generation Programs, Agricultural & environment related programs. The savings and credit transactions of the women groups will strengthen the economic standard of the poor and the marginalized. It will bring the unorganized together for collective activities related to finance.
