Sound Scout
Hi! I'm Brynn, an audio engineer with experience in film, tv, audiobooks, and field recording. When the whole world stopped during the pandemic I started this channel to share my recordings of nature and get in touch with a world that was finally quiet.
Growing up, nature was always where I sought solitude in the beauty and safety of silence in the nearby state park. I think it’s increasingly difficult to experience that today with all the noise of life fighting for your attention. Quiet matters in such a fundamental way in every stage of life, but it’s so easy to overlook. Sound holds so much power, and I want to capture that power and energy for others to experience.
Sound Scout is named for my first dog, Scout. He and I had an unbreakable bond. Scout has now passed but he embodies the relationship I have with sound and nature now, hence he was chosen as the namesake.
