Here we make journals, talk about journal related stuff and about life in general.

Wed morning- I'll post a video about starting a winter solstice journal. I am not feeling very Christmasy for various reasons this year so I am creating a December journal to celebrate the winter solstice and countdown to 2025. It will be a journal of reflection and review for 2024. This isn't the most exciting part of the journal LOL! BUT-it's a fun and easy way to countdown to a celebration. Hey Friends! Canada Post is going on strike today, Nov. the 15th and we have no idea for how long. My website is still up and I am accepting orders. Five year old me was as excited for Halloween way back then just as I am today!! I won't be able to do a final flip thru of my Halloween journal until after Halloween. Apologies!! But time has just gotten away from me. Story of my life ;) Hugs everyone xo

Can you believe my hubby tried to recycle this gem of a box???! Sacrilege! LOL! I mean come on, the possibilities for storing things in these boxes are outstanding. I just about fainted when I saw it in the blue bin hee hee! ;)

POV..from my heart to yours. Don't feel bad for forgetting about supplies you bought and put away. Yesterday it took my 10 minutes to remember Julia Child's name. 10 minutes LOL!! Some days these things float around in the abyss for awhile ;) Hugs, Lisa xo

Just posted a super simple video. It's not rocket science or anything that you don't already know but sometimes it is nice to be reminded that you can simply undo, redo or start again when something doesn't go as planned. We can get attached to ideas or outcomes and then feel annoyed when things go sideways. The moral of this short story is start over when you need/want to do and look forward to starting fresh. A do-over can make room in your mind for new ideas. Hugs xo
