Sometimes I get inspired to do a remix when I’m reminded of a game that I played a long time ago and a familiar song immediately comes to mind. It could be the character select theme, a stage, or even a cinematic moment in the game.
What are some nostalgic games (and moments) that you always find yourself coming back to?
I’ll start. The N64 is a special era for me. Whenever my cousins would come over we would throw on all of the party games. Mario Kart, Pokemon Stadium, Perfect Dark, and Super Smash Bros just to name a few. But one game multiplayer game that I really enjoyed was Snowboard Kids. It had the fun elements of the similar games during its time (even like crash team racing) but man the soundtrack of this game lived rent free in my head as a kid. I’m hoping one of these days to get around to remixing a track from the second soundtrack.
