This week we have two completely disparate stories for you. First, you may remember that some weeks ago we presented you a story about an out of place Pine Marten filmed in Clovelly in North Devon. However, for reasons which we shall not go into here, we were not able to show you the film. We showed you a still, but not the film itself. Today we remedy that and bring you a little bit more news about Devon Martens. but the vast majority this episode belongs to Miss Guinevere who has recently started rearing Atlas Moths. But one particular Atlas moth is presenting her with problems that neither she, nor I, has ever come across before

Some months ago we presented you with Richard Freeman‘s top 10 mysterious cryptozoological creatures that he thought were most likely to exist. Now, today, we bring you the first of a multipart series looking at the 10 creatures that many Cryptozoologist believe exist that Richard Freeman, and often Jon Downes believe are complete bobbins. be prepared, boys and girls. Some of this stuff is going to be Uber controversial, and sparks are likely to fly, and all hell is possibly going to break loose. Happy days!

I think this video should be subtitled “is the algorithm going to throw a hissy fit?“ because the substitute this show is a southern hemisphere group of birds called boobies. According to Internet gossip a Facebook group was closed because it captioned a picture of these birds “immature brown boobies” and the algorithm thought that it was referring to indecent photographs of younger dusky maidens. But in this case I am putting in capital letters WE ARE TALKING ABOUT A FAMILY OF SEABIRDS RELATED TO GANNETS, AND YES THERE IS A FORTEAN ZOOLOGICAL CONNECTION. So there!

In this week’s really rather good episode, we visit Loch Ness in the company of our old friend Ian Squibbs who is, we believe, one of the most popular people to do guest appearances on this show . We look at the latest sightings of what some people believe is a monster in the lake, and discuss some of the implications of the latest news.

Apart from the fact that we wish that people wouldn’t call the phenomenon the British “Bigfoot“, because it has only the vaguest relationship to the creatures reported in North America, we have been interested in the subject of wodewoses for many years. indeed, Jon has actually seen one, and despite various people in the community calling us skeptics and nonbelievers we have been researching them for years. So has Lee Brickley. We recently read his book and were very impressed. This episode we take the time to talk about it..

This summer, Katy Elizabeth has tried on three separate occasions to do a stint of research into the mysterious creatures that lurk in the deaths of Lake Champlain. and again and again she was swatted, by problems with her boat, by adverse weather conditions, and by all sorts of other things that we shall not go into here. But, eventually she managed to get out on the lake, and her persistence was rewarded with some astounding recordings of what appeared to be echolocation noise presumably produced by the creature itself. At least that’s what she thinks, what we think, and what a professional marine biologist from Australia thinks as well. Even Ian Squibbs is impressed.

Regular viewers, especially those who read the credits will have heard of Miss Daisy. She regularly sends me news items of interest, and in this episode Richard Freeman and I go through a bunch of them and talk about the issues which they throw up. A splendid time was had by all.

Regular viewers will, we are sure, know Richard Freeman: cryptozoologist, explorer, and all round good egg. But did you know that he is a world famous expert on dragons? The other day we were chatting amongst ourselves trying to work out what to do for fourth coming episodes of this wonderful little show which I hope you all enjoy each week, and I suddenly realised that although we had a dragon expert in our midst we had never talked about dragons with him so, with this, the second of two episodes, we set out to remedy this situation. Be prepared to be stunned and amazed.

As I expect that you all know, Richard Freeman, Dr Chris Clark, and Jon Hare have just returned from the central Asian country of Tajikistan. It was the third expedition that the CFZ has mounted there in search of supporting evidence for the continued existence of the Caspian tiger, which is thought to become extinct over 40 years ago, and to investigate legends of the gul, a mythical man beast which appears to be a very primitive hominin. We are still waiting to receive the trail cam pictures, video and stills photographs from John and Chris but in this episode, Richard gives a brief overview of the expedition, promising to put together a full length show about it when we get the rest of the material. And he gives Jon Downes a new hat
