The day after I was born my father showed up to the hospital with (reportedly) a black eye and a pool cue. The cue was a gift for me, the newborn baby. Might seem like a strange gift for a small child only a day old, but as an adult I wonder if it somehow determined all the way back then that pool would become my favourite pastime.
Anyway, a little while back I decided it could be interesting to get some of my friends from around the music industry, invite them to have a few games, share a few tins and converse about what life is like as a musician, and then film it and put it on the internet. Just a bit of banter really, but I think it’s nice to be able to share experiences as this life can be quite solitary at times.

I got the call up from the good ol’ ABC TV to join my mate Ruel in having a sing on the television for The Set. The cameras were confronting but the people were 💯 so it was a real nice time

If I’m honest, there were times in the last couple years where I really thought this album would never see the light of day, but here we are, and I’m so glad that I didn’t give in.
