Hey, it's Taylor from Best Damn EDC.

We’re all feeling the same frustrations with social media these days.

I started the Best Damn EDC to showcase the coolest, most unique everyday carry gear, using platforms like YouTube and Instagram. It was great – I got to help propel brands forward, like Wehr Knives and Vero Engineering, and through EDC Weekly, I got to showcase the community's coolest and most unique carries.

But times have changed.

We all know the feeling. You open Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram, and instead of seeing what you want, you’re fed content designed to keep you scrolling. Notifications don’t come through, and we miss the stuff we actually care about.

This is even worse for the EDC community. Knife content is often hidden, restricted, or even removed without warning. Just this week, Instagram removed (yet another) one of my videos – a harmless joke, just promoting a YouTube video. And I’m not alone. This is happening more and more across all social platforms.

So I’m taking back control, and I want you with me.
