Taryn Southern is an award-winning storyteller and creative technologist whose works explores the intersection of emerging technology and human potential. An early content creator on YouTube, she uploaded her first viral video in 2007. Her groundbreaking experiments include composing the world’s first AI pop album (2017), creating an award-winning Google VR series (2018), directing a Tribeca Film Festival documentary on brain-computer interfaces (2019), and becoming one of the first creators to create an AI clone (2020.)
As a keynote speaker and breast cancer survivor, Taryn shares AI applications that save time, unleash creativity and radically improve our lives. As the former Chief Storyteller at an implantable neurotechnology company, she launched the world’s first Brain-Computer Interface Museum and BCI Ethics Advisory Board, and oversaw storytelling efforts for two successful funding rounds totaling over $230M+.
