A little heartbroken today. Early in the morning, I heard the news about Vineesh Phogat being disqualified from wrestling finals due to being overweight by 100g. Sheesh, that's less than my daily variance due to water retention. This is so sad. Totally bummed that she ends up last place.. What do you think? Was it fair to disqualify her completely? Shouldn't she at least get the silver medal?

Ghana has been quite kind so far with ample opportunities for me to venture out to the jungles. Thanks to a group called Ghana Mountaineers.. here’s a video of one of the hikes to adaklu mountain.. one of the highest peaks in ghana, in the Volta region..

Jakob Ingebrigsten dives to win Gold in the Diamond League.. But was it worth it?
I somehow feel a victory like this in a running race takes away some of the glory..
And also indicates how desperate Jakob is, especially after his loss to Josh Kerr in the Bowerman Mile..
Anyway, lots of respect for the young champ.. His best days are in the future in all likelihood..
