Hey everyone, I have been working on content since I finished those Strokes BEIMV videos, but my main project at the moment is quite a large one, so it's still a work in progress. Also it's not an album but everything is my voice. I'm planning to put out an update video soon.
Also I might do a livestream on here in the coming days if I feel like it (another scuffed Simpsons Game stream, anyone?). So you'll hopefully see something a little more substantial from me within the next week or two.

Here's the art for my Room on Fire but everything is my voice video - I think this is the first time that I finished making the cover art parody for a BEIMV album AFTER finishing all the songs for it. One of the more abstract album covers that I've parodied for these, so I was brainstorming it for quite a while.
Anyway, you'll probably see another Premiere link popping up in the coming days. Yee

This may be the final Room on Fire BEIMV update, because now I have only ONE SONG LEFT before I finish the whole thing! Prepare to get Stroked in the next fortnight!

Now, this could be the last BEIMV video that I post for a while - or maybe it won't be, but I haven't been thinking about what songs/albums to cover next at all whilst I've been finishing this album. And also, I've been putting together a much bigger video at the same time, so that will likely be my sole focus after I've finished the Strokes stuff.

It'll be a massive video that has very little to do with my previous content on here and may confuse people a bit, but I'll post it here anyway because I've been working hard on it and have a lot of faith in it. I'll make a little preview of this other big video when it's closer to being finished, but that could be a little while, so Room on Fire BEIMV might be the last video I post here for 2024.

So there's a few hopefully exciting things on the horizon for this channel, just be prepared to wait a bit. Love, shonk

Room on Fire BEIMV update: Was hoping to have Under Control finished by now but I was a bit sick last week so that threw me off for a few days, but the song is really starting to come together now. Might be able to get the whole song done by the end of this week - then there'll only be TWO songs left to finish on the album!!
So this video should DEFINITELY be out by the end of November :)

Room on Fire BEIMV update: Should be able to finish Meet Me In the Bathroom in the coming days. Will probably be the simplest song to remake from this album.

Room on Fire but everything is my voice Progress Update:
I should have Between Love and Hate finished this week, which will just leave four songs left to work on (Meet Me in the Bathroom, Under Control, The Way It Is and I Can't Win). Hopefully this means I'll have the full video out in November (late October might be possible, but that's probably being a little too optimistic).

Now I did a poll on favourite members of The Strokes in my last post, but since I couldn't include all of the members in a single poll, here's another one.

I was thinking of doing another stream today, but I decided to do some more work on the Strokes BEIMV instead. Room on Fire is about 50% done now - currently putting You Talk Way Too Much together, and once I've finished that track then I'll probably post 12:51 BEIMV. So you'll probably get a new video in the coming week mates

Thanks to everyone who checked out the Simpsons Game stream that I did yesterday - now that I know I can (maybe) do passable streams with PSP emulator gameplay, I'm planning to do another stream tomorrow with a different game. This could be the best livestream that I ever do, or the worst one I ever do, could go either way but hopefully both ways will be somewhat entertaining.

Also, The Gentle Rubs are coming back! The album BEIMV that I've been working on lately is Room on Fire by the Strokes - I finished putting 12:51 together today and will post that as a standalone video soon, probably after I've completed one or two more of the remaining album tracks. So there's hopefully gonna be a lot of enjoyable stuff coming up in the near future!

Another full album BEIMV is in the works, mates - I've already posted two songs from this album on here, have made two more songs from that album BEIMV since then, and have 7 more songs left to finish the full album. That should narrow down which album it is.
The next video on here will probably be one of those pesky Shonky Games compilations, which you probably won't click on, but I'll post it anyway.

Also, I recently realised that I still have OBS on my Mac, so I might even attempt to do a livestream of some kind soon. The dream would be doing live PS2 emulator gameplay but I might need a slightly more advanced computer for that to work - if so, then online quizzes or something like Cine2Nerdle could make for a fun stream, maybe even do some video reactions if I can find enough non-copyrighted content to react to. If you have any other fun livestream ideas (they probably won't involve a facecam, so keep that in mind) then do send them my way.
I'll probably attempt my first OBS livestream next weekend at the earliest.

Been making a song BEIMV in the past week, it's pretty close to finished but you'll probably won't hear it too soon cos it might be part of a bigger video 👀
