I feel like most of the content I see about music publishing & royalties is disheartening 💔 so I wanted to provide words of encouragement for artists, songwriters, and producers that may be struggling. As someone who firmly believes that we need to update the royalty systems in our industry due to low publishing payouts, I also believe in the power of your music catalog. Write those songs!!! ✍🏻If this is your calling continue to answer the call. Anything that you nurture for years will bear fruit. Despite the circumstances of the industry, it IS possible to make a living off of your music catalog. Release the pressure, and create with intention. It will amount to something if you allow it. 💎
