Jane Austen Dancers, Regency Dancing in Bath

The 1995 BBC version of Pride and Prejudice and the Netherfield Ball where Mr Darcy danced with Miss Elizabeth Bennet, inspired the Jane Austen Dancers of bath to be founded in 1996 - the first and foremost Regency dance group in bath and the UK.
The Jane Austen Dancers provide opportunities for people from all backgrounds to develop their knowledge of and skill at the dances from the Regency and late Georgian period (c 1775 - 1830) and share their knowledge and pleasure with a wider public through a varied programme of classes, balls and demonstrations.
