My ethos is to play with honesty. I will always try to tab the songs by ear, and record using a minimum of cut-ins and overdubs. You won't find 100% accurate official tabs here, nor a flawless performance of each song. Instead, I will try to capture the vibe of the song and give the best one-take rendition I can.
For more complex songs, I sometimes refer to a tab when I get stuck. Occasionally I'll record a couple of takes and cut between them - you might notice this as a slight discrepancy between the video and the audio. I also apply post-recording effects such as reverb, gain and chorus, and make use of volume automation.
