Vox Stoica

Shoutout to STOLACE for his excellent reimagining of Pink Floyd's 1973 album "Dark Side of the Moon". Combining it with clips from The Shortness of Life and in his own words examining "topics of mortality - the relative value of time, the shortness of life, the inevitability of death, and what to do with the time that we are given". Stellar job 👍

Vox Stoica

Hey Everyone, I've decided to change the channel name to "Vox Stoica" to better reflect the direction the channel's taken.
"INTPWorld" was chosen when I started out as a sort of catch-all for everything that potentially interested me and that I might make the channel about, but to be honest I never really liked it that much. Vox Stoica gives a better indication of what it's all about now, and failing that is just easier to say.
In other news, meditations is available on Audible:

Hi everyone, my first narration on Audible has gone live: "Practical Stoicism"
US link: bit.ly/PracticalStoicismUSUK link: bit.ly/PracticalStoicismUKI particularly liked this book as a good resource for daily reminders of the Stoic principles. I will do a video on it soon but in the mean time here's a short description form the author:

"For anyone who has found a philosophical home in Stoicism, but still struggles to integrate the ancient lessons into their day-to-day life, this might be the book for you. Practical Stoicism is a collection of short essays to help bridge the gap between the essential teachings of the great stoic philosophers and the things we must do, in the here and now, to achieve the fulfillment they promised.
Dip into any chapter whenever you need a quick reminder of how to move your philosophy out of your head and into your life."

Hey All
A quick note to say I've taken Marcus Aurelius' Meditations down. I was concerned with the copyright on that translation so will be replacing it with another version soon, although I haven't finished the recording yet.
Sorry if you're missing it, but stay Stoic
