Take It Apart is a band from Singapore that has evolved from a band doing covers to an alternative rock band, writing their own songs. We are a five piece band with big hopes to let people hear our own materials.

The band was formed at around 2006, when CY met Reuben and Dezimon. With another guitarist, they played as a four piece band covering Mandarin rock songs. As time goes, their influences and playing styles evolved. They were experimental, switching from Mandarin rock to Japanese rock, moving on to covering songs from bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Creed, Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, etc. Soon, the members felt that the band was going nowhere with covers, and started discussing and writing original songs.
