Day Melo, a singer from Crateús-CE, discovered her talent at the age of 13 at family gatherings and began performing at 14. At 17, she moved to Fortaleza in search of more opportunities. She has been part of several bands, such as Gaudenio Santiago, Felipão e Banda, Márcio Campos, Gustavo Serpa, and Riquelme Batera.

Her influences include Ana Carolina, Cássia Eller, Marisa Monte, Alcione, José Augusto, Leonardo, Solange Almeida, Ivete Sangalo, among others.

Currently, Day Melo pursues a solo career in forró, debuting in a YouTube live stream with appearances by various artists like Vicente Nery, Bete Nascimento, Hannah, França, Suzy Navarro, Rodrigo Santos, and Banda Amor de Cristal.

Day recorded a DVD with new songs and covers, featuring Solange Almeida, Samyra Show, Laninha Show, Bárbara D’lux, Zé Cantor, Júnior Vianna, Jonatha, Cristiano, Dorgival Dantas, and Vicente Nery.
