Hello, everyone.
I'm a minimalist editor who has been editing for roughly 10 years now - Believe it or not, most of my videos have at least some digital effects in them, I just try and make any effects that I use as unnoticeable as possible. I believe amvs should be a union of the anime and the song to produce an emotional response, and less about the fancy candy effects you can pull out of Vegas or Aftereffects. They absolutely have their place, and it is a style! For those who can pull it off, I wholeheartedly applaud you :) It's just not my thing!
