Praised by Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine as "a choreographer of images who has created a visual language for interpreting sound," Dan Rucks has produced videos and tour projections for Ann-Margret, Belinda Carlisle, Madonna, Cher, David Bowie, The Go-Go's, Whitney Houston, Sandra Bernhard, The Judds, Depeche Mode, and others.
Pop-legend Madonna has claimed Rucks has "the eyes of an editor and the mind of a dancer." Their 10-year collaboration began in 1994, when his video remix of "Secret" brought the previously stalled single to #1 on Billboard's Single and Maxi-Single charts, making it the first remix video to reach the top spot on MTV's video countdown. Under the new moniker Dan-O-Rama, Rucks would become a top video re mixer; 11 #1 Bilboard Dance Videos. Concert tours and DVD features for numerous artists would soon follow.
