Richard LeBel
My name is Richard LeBel and I am a Retired Enlisted Nuclear Electrician, Technician, Firefighter, and Operator for the United States Navy. I was born and raised on the St. Lawrence River in Upstate NY. The Thousand Islands was my home for many years until September 11th, 2001 as the Towers were falling I was joining the US Navy, LITERALLY. Unforgetable experience of being sworn in by a Two-Star Admiral while the towers were falling simultaneously in Syracuse NY😳. Served aboard the Eisenhower until a bad injury that almost killed me ended up leading to my medical retirement. Fort Monroe has been my home for the last 20 years and I can't wait to share all of the exciting adventures that I will having there and all around the world 🌍.
