Welcome to The Patent Guy channel! Unlike other channels, I have no interest in selling anything. The primary motivation for most patent attorneys on YouTube is to solicit clients. Therefore, they are inherently biased to encourage you to try to get a patent whether you should or not. My family has directly experienced the adverse affects of this inherent bias.
I have a great gig as senior patent counsel overseeing the global patent portfolio of a Fortune 20 Corporation. I do not need or want clients. My only motivation is to pay it forward. I deeply believe that the appropriate use of the patent system not only benefits inventors, but humankind overall.
