Marky Berryman is the Head of The Exiles CMMA. The Exiles is a group of martial arts clubs in the UK, Ireland and Europe, founded in 1992 and with a focus on the ancient combat art of Fiore Dei Liberi. The Exiles are one of the oldest and largest HEMA groups in the world.

Marky studied Fiore under the tutorship of Maister Rob Lovett and has been practising Fiore as a full and holistic system since 1996. Marky is a recognised Mixed Martial Artist, expert in combative wrestling and knife/dagger and is a qualified Sport England Boxing Coach. Today, Marky’s interest is purely on the application of aggressive, realistic and mortal combat. Marky has a no-nonsense approach, believing that ability comes before opinion and studies and teaches only what has application in reality and with relevance to the physiological and practical martial development of students. A published author, who has taught around the world, his middle name also happens to be sarcasm.
