Today marks 23 years since, arguably, the worst event to ever take place in United States history. On September 11th, 2001, four aircraft were taken down out of the sky by Al Quaeda terrorists, killing a total of 2,996 people from inside the planes and on the ground as well. RIP to those killed on that fateful day. God bless America! #neverforget

Good afternoon! Today is the big reveal! First, we will go over clues. Next, we will recognize our correct guessers. Finally... THE BIG REVEAL! Some of the clues might not list the answers due to the fact that we want to save our destinations until the end. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Clue 1: This airline, which we have flown on in previous trips, is the one we will be taking on the way there. We have a layover, but something big to remember is that we are flying out of an airport that we rarely fly from (not leaving out of FLL). Can you guess the airline, layover airport, and/or origin airport?

Answer 1: American Airlines, layover at DFW, leaving from MIA

Clue 2: This airline's first flight was flown by Charles Lindbergh, the father of trans-ocean flying, in 1926. Which airline is it?

Answer 2: American Airlines

Clue 3: One of our destinations is a national park. Something cool about it is that it's an ACTIVE SUPERVOLCANO! Which park is it?

Answer 3: N/A

Clue 4: The mountain range in this park sits at an astounding 7,000 feet above the valley floor! Which park is it?

Answer 4: N/A

Clue 5: On the way home, we will be flying on an airline that has a ton of controversy. We've flown them once before and we're going on one of their newest aircraft. Which airline could it be?

Answer 5: Spirit Airlines, A321NEO

Clue 6: This city, one of our destinations, is known for having "the greatest snow on earth."

Answer 6: N/A

Clue 7: On the way to our first destination, we have a layover in a major hub for a major US airline. It is actually their headquarters. It’s somewhat centrally located. Any guesses?

Answer 7: Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW)

Clue 8: Our first destination is known as the sweet pea capital of the world! Where is it?

Answer 8: N/A

Clue 9: This city is named after a lake that it sits right next to. Which city is it?

Answer 9: N/A

Clue 10: This park is home to over half of the world’s geysers! Which park is this?

Answer 10: N/A

Clue 11: This city is nicknamed “The Bozone.” What city is it?

Answer 11: N/A

Clue 12: This century-old park is the world’s OLDEST national park! Can you guess which park I’m talking about?

Answer 12: N/A

Clue 13: In this park, it is common to find bison, bears, or other creatures roaming the streets that go through it. Which park is this?

Answer 13: N/A

Clue 14: A 2.7 million-year-old metamorphic rock makes up much of this park’s mountain range. Which park is this home to?

Answer 14: N/A

That's it for clues! With the several clues given, there were many opportunities to get at least one of the answers correct.

Before our 2024 summer trip destinations are revealed, let's recognize our correct guessers! There were four. Amazing job:
1. ‪@nonstops_aviation‬ NonStop's Aviation
2. ‪@demircik1265‬ The Republic of Brendonia (Demir)
3. ‪@IsoscelesKramer‬ IsoscelesKramer
4. ‪@joseleonriv‬ Jose Leon Rivera

Great job!!!

So, in case you haven't guessed already, we are going to... BOZEMAN, YELLOWSTONE, GRAND TETONS, JACKSON HOLE, and SALT LAKE CITY!!!

I gave the names of the places in the exact order we are going in, as well.

I leave tomorrow. We will have a total of THREE new trip reports once I return, which I will try to release as quickly as possible. I will also try to release some scenic videos and clips as well. Our trip reports will be MIA-DFW, DFW-BZN, and SLC-FLL. Thank you for your patience and interest in everything going on. I can't wait for you all to visit these new places with me! See you later!
